The BEST thing to come off the grill. Not even barbeque restaurants can compare to this recipe. These pork back ribs are tender, buttery and fall right off the bone.

Pork Back Ribs

Ingredients
- 1 rack of pork back ribs
- Butcher paper
- 4 tbsp BBQ rub
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp apple cider (to wet)
- 3/4 c BBQ sauce
Directions
- Remove the membrane from the bone-side of the ribs by peeling it up and using a paper towel to help grip. Coat the rack with salt and 1/4 c brown sugar, securely wrap in butcher paper, and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, generously coat with BBQ seasoning rub. Place ribs bone-side down directly on smoker grate and smoke on low: 180-200.
- After 3 hours, remove from the smoker and coat with 1/4 c brown sugar, butter, and spritz with apple cider. Tightly cover ribs in foil bone-side up, making sure that the foil is sealed.
- Smoke for 2 hours at 225-250.
- Remove the ribs from the smoker and unwrap. Brush BBQ sauce generously onto ribs with bone-side down. Return to the smoker for 1 hour at 225 or until the sauce is set and the meat is extra tender.
If grilling: Get indirect heat by moving coals to one side or using only one burner, and aim for a temperature of 225-250. You can also soak wood chips in water for 30 minutes and add them to the grill for flavor!
