Making Memories and Easy Treats With Betty Crocker

This article is a paid sponsorship by Betty Crocker, but the thoughts and words are my own.

Lately the boys have been asking to help more in the kitchen. It’s great that they’re showing interest, but sometimes I just want to get the cooking over with… and it can be tricky to get into the mood of welcoming our aspiring chefs to come and help out. We recently discovered Betty Crocker™ No Bake Bites and Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Brittle Mix from Walmart. They are the dream solution for feeling like a pinterest-perfect mom…even when I’m most definitely not!

In four kid-friendly, super simple steps, we have our finished Birthday Cake No Bake Bites and Chocolate Chip Cookie Brittle! It’s a treat for us not only to make them together– but to eat them together, too.
All we had to do to make these were follow the directions on the back of the box and grab some staple ingredients that we already keep on hand. For each mix we followed these easy steps:
  1. Gather- Each kid helped gather an ingredient to contribute to our yummy treat. We were able to assign our oldest, who’s learning fractions in math, to help measure and put that knowledge to use!
  2. Mix- Once we had the ingredients gathered together, it was simple to combine the ingredients without being scared of a botched recipe (because I’ve had one too many!). The short list of  ingredients made me feel confident and stress-free in getting a tasty result!
  3. Prepare- We prepared the treats according to directions on the back of the box. The No Bake Bites don’t require an oven at all– making them a perfect treat for little assistants to help with!
  4. Enjoy!- Share your tasty treat as a family and spread high-fives all around!
Not only were the treats so simple and easy to make as a family, they are delicious. I easily upped my mom-game and the boys think I’m the best! Try them out yourself! Find them at Walmart, ALSO sample some for free here while supplies last!
