Spaghetti

I know you know how to make this one… but when’s the last time you made it?! Spaghetti night is a fool-proof family dinner that NOBODY complains about. (Unheard of)

Spaghetti

  • Difficulty: easy
  • Rating: ★★★★★

    Variations:
  • Vegetarian: Save a portion of the sauce before adding to the ground meat mixture and top on their plate to give a meat-free sauce.
  • Lasagna: Combine all ingredients (cottage cheese included) and bake!
  • Baby-led weaning: Reserve a small amount of browned ground beef before adding tomato sauce to provide a single-food introduction at 6+ months old. If solids aren’t brand-new, spaghetti is a BLW safe meal- just cut the noodles into grab-able pieces.

Ingredients

  • Box of spaghetti – double the recommended serving size… just in case 😉
  • Jar of pasta sauce
  • Ground beef
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Cottage cheese (trust me)
  • Bread sticks (frozen, fresh, whatever!)

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to directions on box. At the same time, brown the ground beef and start the oven for the breadsticks.
  2. Drain spaghetti and add pasta sauce to ground beef.
  3. Serve with cold cottage cheese on the side and grated parmesan on top.
