6 Wisconsin State Parks for Families

We’ve been hiking as a family since before kids, and now our kids have grown up loving to explore these parks. While we have yet to visit many more state parks in Wisconsin, here are six of them that we have explored and loved as a family of six. With four children ages 3-10, these parks are exciting enough for the adventurous big kids, but also have more easily accessible paths for the littles, too. It’s a great way to get the entire family outside and having fun together!

1. Devil’s Lake State Park

2. Governor Dodge State Park

3. Ice Age Trail/Gibraltar Rock State Natural Area

4. Kohler-Andrae State Park

5. Mirror Lake State Park

6. Whitefish Dunes State Park
