English Muffin French Toast

I’m not really a breakfast person at all, but something about using English muffins as the bread for French toast makes the texture just perfect and it’s delicious. So, of course, I had to share the recipe with you! The kids and I ate them up so fast, and now it’s one of our favorite go-to breakfasts on the weekends.

English Muffin French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz carton of liquid egg whites
  • 1 pkg English muffins
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Slice the English muffins and pour liquid egg whites into a raised dish or bowl.
  2. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon into egg whites and drench the English muffin slices until well covered. Set to the side.
  3. Heat pan over medium high heat and add butter once heated.
  4. Lay each English muffin slice onto the pan and let it fry, turning until each side is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with butter, syrup and powdered sugar.
