I am always running out of snack ideas for after school, and this mini corn dog recipe is just full of those comfort food flavors.
Mini Corn Dogs
Ingredients
- 1 pkg honey cornbread mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 3-5 hotdogs, cut into 1 inch pieces
- Popsicle sticks (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350, and spray a mini muffin pan.
- Make the honey cornbread mixture following the directions on the back, and pour into muffin cups, filling halfway.
- Press hotdog pieces into popsicle sticks (optional) and press into each muffin cup.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching for the tops to be golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove carefully, and serve!
