It’s not really a football party without the food, right?!
And let’s be honest… some of us are only there for the food.
Now I’ve spent many years cheering for the Packers and either hosting or attending football game day watch parties. So whether you’re bringing the main dish or some snacks, I’ve compiled a list of goodies here for you. And trust me, everyone will find something to enjoy with these football game day recipes.

Game Day Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 package (12) sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper
- 1 large yellow onion, finely diced
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, finely shredded
- Optional: mayo or mustard
Directions
- Cut rolls horizontally to keep tops and bottoms intact, respectively. Spread each cut side with butter. Heat griddle pan to medium high. Toast buns until golden; set aside.
- Portion ground beef into 12 balls weighing 2 ounces each (about the size of a golf ball).
- Add oil and diced onion to hot griddle, sear 3 minutes. Place beef balls over cooked onions and with a solid metal spatula, smash balls into patties. Season with salt and pepper. After 1 to 2 minutes burgers, should have a good sear on the first side. Flip burgers and arrange closely in 3 rows of 4 (to match bun set dimensions). Place cheese slices evenly on top of the group of patties.
- You can spread mayo, mustard, and pickles across bottom buns, or just top with slider patties, making sure to scoop up any onions with burgers. Top with shredded lettuce and top buns.
