These meatballs aren’t a traditional dinner meal, but they are too good not to share! We make these for football games and tailgates and they are so simple, easy, and yummy. To make it into a dinner you can serve over rice, or you can follow our lead and make dinner your own tailgate party by serving your favorite tailgate food and letting the family graze. The ingredients might be a little weird, but don’t knock it til you try it!
3 Ingredient Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 pkg frozen homestyle meatballs
- 1 cup seedless blackberry or grape jam
- 1 cup ketchup
Directions
- Put all of the ingredients into a slow-cooker
- Cook on high setting for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours
- Serve once sauce is bubbling and hot, or continue to heat on low for longer! (the longer it cooks, the better and stickier it gets)
Finding easy meals that can be made in bulk for get-togethers can be difficult, but Alan’s Classic BBQ Chicken Sandwich is a fan favorite (for kids too!).
