Making homemade vanilla extract for the perfect host gift is way easier than you might think. After searching around for holiday gifts and favors for hosts, this vanilla extract recipe looked like the perfect idea. With only a few ingredients and supplies, putting these gifts together was so quick and easy!
After years of gift giving, I find that practical gifts are more favorable than guessing what fun gadgets or luxury products friends and family might want. And who doesn’t need more vanilla extract?! This recipe can be easily replenished by simply adding more vodka- you don’t even need new vanilla sticks!
Homemade Vanilla Extract Host Gift
Ingredients
- 8 oz sealable bottles
- Vanilla beans
- Vodka
Directions
- In each bottle: put 5-6 SLICED vanilla beans and add 8oz of vodka
- Seal for minimum of 2 months before use
